Jocelyn just celebrated her 6th birthday and instead of gifts for herself she requested kitty food, toys, beds, and other goodies for her to donate to C.A.R.E. Here is Jocelyn with the baskets of donated items that we will use in our adoption center and in our foster homes. She and her parents are true animal lovers, having taken into their family 3 CARE cats (Sophie, Timothy, and Zitabella) in addition to 3 other lucky felines. The volunteers and cats at CARE wish her many more happy birthdays and extend our heartfelt thanks to this generous family for their kindness. |

Rachel and Corrine, pictured here, along with their friend Katelyn, donated half the proceeds of their lemonade stand to help our CARE cats. They donated the other half to a dog rescue group. Thank you, girls, for having such big hearts and for working on behalf of homeless cats and dogs. |

This is CARE volunteer Sandy Schneider with Grace (age 6) and her mother Marjie Jeters-Robinson. Grace elected to collect food and toys for the CARE cats for her 6th birthday party instead of getting gifts for herself. Here she is donating them to CARE. What a sweet child! |
| These three foster kitties are helping their foster mom read the daily newspaper. One is protecting the hot coffee from being spilled by the other two. FOSTER PARENTING HAS ITS WONDERFUL MOMENTS! TRY IT, you will like it! |

Congratulations to Bill Doran, the lucky winner of the Fourth of July basket raffle! This cute little orange kitten is MeshMesh, which is Arabic for Apricot. He is helping CARE raise money through its 2003 Fourth of July raffle party basket. MeshMesh was adopted on the spot, but stayed around for a while to solicit more funds for CARE. |

This
lovely lady and gentleman just adopted Nadine, the NEW LOVE OF THEIR
LIFE. This sweet kitty is FIV POSITIVE. She
deserves a wonderful home and life, just like any other homeless cat. We
HONOR this couple for understanding that this
kitty will bring years of devotion and love to their home. She is not
sick, not contagious to people or dogs, just a carrier of FIV.
CARE has
several other FIV positives not listed on the web which need homes!

This is the family who adopted our 1,000th
cat. This is a photo of the adoption taking place at PetSmart at
Merchant's Walk. It was the mom's birthday, and all she wanted was a
cat. Her husband was a sport and suggested they adopt two, which is what
happened....Romeo and Todd left for a new life in a loving, secure home.
