Two of them are elderly and need a home where they can live out their lives in comfort. They were kept in rabbit hutches until the authorities raided the place and seized them all. Dude (Adopted!)	I am a 3 year old stray who "lucked out" for now. I was found by an elderly person who just could not turn her back on me. For now, she is housing me; however, she is unable to keep me much longer and does NOT want to turn me into any shelter. I am fully inoculated, everything is "done" to me, if you know what I mean. Chap (Adopted!)	Fuzzy Lop, male, 2 1/2 years old. extremely sweet. Came completely matted and was combed out without one nip or slap. All shades of beige and brown, he is gorgeous. Needs regular combing, as he has a beautiful, long, cotton-like coat. Call Kathy @ (804) 556-2155.
Puppies (German Shepherd/Lab Mixes) are Five in Number! (Adopted!)	Some horrible person abandoned 8 puppies in the parking lot early in the morning in a large cardboard box one recent Saturday. The puppies chewed through the box by making a round hole in the side, just large enough to escape from the box into the busy parking lot. Concerned passersby grabbed up the puppies and took them into PetSmart. They come with their beginning shots, have been de-wormed and given Advantage, and will come with a spay/neuter certificate. These adorable 9 week old puppies will be medium to large dogs, some being girls, others boys, some black with tan, others tan with black. They are most likely German Shepherd/Lab mix with some Australian dog mixed in according to the vet. *CARE is now trying to adopt the last one*. Mary (Adopted!)	I am a wonderful *6 month old German Shepherd mix puppy* who was abandoned at the Henrico County Animal Protection building. CARE has taken it upon itself to pay for my spay and my rabies. So, I am still being housed at the pound at 652-3356 on Dabbs House Road, but I will come with a spay certificate and CARE will pay for my rabies shot. Purebred Cream Lab (Adopted!)	This poor dog's owner turned it into a euthanizing pound June l7. Since it is an owner turn-in, this dog can be put down instantly.
